| | “An attitude of gratitude” is something many of us hope to achieve. How wonderful it would be to wake up each day with thanksgiving on our lips, praising God from a sincere heart for what He has done. And then to continue throughout the day with eyes that look for what God is doing in all things--good or bad--and to thank Him for all of it. “We thank You for this day…” Are we prepared to say this no matter what? As we look forward to a new day, can we, knowing that trials may come our way, say to Him, “Lord, no matter what, I thank You?” Can we look back at any typical day as a blessing from God? There is freedom in the kind of faith that recognizes that everything that comes into a child of God’s life is a blessing that God has allowed for His purpose. And there is a remarkable power when we thank God, praising Him in all things, and giving Him glory for the least to the greatest of things in our lives. |
